The story follows Dee, a young man hard on his luck, who has spent 16 years of his life being a survivor and not much else. His only release is his vivid imagination. He is a street rapper, making up clever rhymes of the people that pass by on their way to wherever.
However, after lading himself in a tough situation, his fight is gone, and he sees that maybe the future is not that bright. So Dee stops fighting and starts living like there’s no tomorrow, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. His art.

Having been selected as one of the Reel World Film Festival’s, Emerging 20, she is cultivating her new passion, filmmaking.
Her submission to this year’s festival is called 600 Letters. The story follows Olivia as she experiences love and heartbreak three times in her life. Olivia achieves great success scholastically, but has never been able to fill the void in her personal life. Writing is her salvation and her cure, she feels every person she has ever met has contributed to her life in some way, and the film explores her journey to recognize and thank these individuals, while she still has time.

My Environment chronicles the lives of gangster’s living in Toronto, doing big business with little hope. This movie reveals the complex crime underworld from the perspective of four friends whose lives quickly spiral out of control.
With the same authenticity and intensity that is heard in his music, he will now transfer that that energy into his filmmaking. My Environment is the first of many films to come by Adrian (JB) Homer.
Tasha Waldron Project Title: The Devil's Candy Format: Dramatic Short Film Running time: 35 mins SYNOPSIS Tasha Waldron’s entry to the Reel World Film Festival is called The Devil’s Candy. The story is inspired by true events. This dramatic short film explores the unforeseen upheaval and devastation of a young, female, crack cocaine dealer.
This film takes its audience up close and personal into the lives of merciless drug dealers and chronic crack cocaine users, exposing the raw and disturbing realities of individuals whose lives are touched by crack cocaine.
